Álvaro has more than 20 years of experience in the OSS/BSS industry. He joined WeDo 16 years ago, participated in its founding, worked as a Senior Manager of WeDo Solutions BU, leading many delivery projects in Europe, Latin America and Asia. Álvaro was the Vice President for Asia Pacific region since 2007, before his appointment as Vice President Professional Services on 2016 and recently as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for Product Development and Support as well.
Antonio has over 20 years of professional achievements in diverse solutions/programs, customers and organizations in Latin America, Europe and North America.
He also has more than 14 years in leadership roles of large and multidisciplinary cross-country organizations in the areas of technical solutions, training, consulting, systems integration, software development, business development and sales.
Berna Türel has more than 14 years of experience in the Telecom Industry, specialized in Revenue Assurance, Mediation and Charging domains. She started her career in Turkcell as Charging & Mediation specialist and then worked for 3 years as a consultant performing solution integration and architect roles in various telecom operators like Etisalat Egypt and Vodafone Czech Republic. She worked as Revenue Assurance Specialist at Avea before joining Turkcell as Business Analyst in Revenue Management domain. She has been working as Revenue Assurance Manager for the last past year.
Bernardo Lucas is WeDo Technologies Chief Marketing and Stratefy Officer. Previously, Bernardo worked as a project lead at US based Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he led technology, media, telecommunications, retail and financial services consulting projects. He holds an MBA from INSEAD with distinction.
Advanced Analytics Manager with over 17 years of experience in BI and Advanced Analytics projects. Her degrees in Statistics and Management make the perfect mix to response the day-to-day challenges in different business areas, such as Banking, Telco, Retail, etc. and in different business objective like Discount Analytics, Sales Forecast or Fraud Prediction.
Joining WeDo Technologies in 2009, Carlos Marques previously held roles in marketing and sales for IT companies. Carlos is WeDo Technologies’ product marketing manager, the leader of the company product board - the “meeting point” for product & services strategy at WeDo Technologies. Carlos is also the person responsible for managing the product roadmap process in the company.
Dana Adams is Director of Security Services at TELUS, a leading national telecommunications company in Canada. Dana oversees and has overseen multiple Canadian and overseas locations responsible for enterprise-wide physical and logical integrated access control systems, audit compliance, corporate investigations, event planning, business continuity, on-board screening programs, and law enforcement liaison work including Lawful Intercept, warrant and subpoena programs.
Eric is a recognized expert on communications risk and assurance, and is the editor of Commsrisk.com. Eric currently sits on the committee of the Risk & Assurance Group, and is an editorial advisor to Black Swan.
Inês joined WeDo Technologies in 2001, and after passing through Marketing and Product Management teams, started working in Sales. At the moment Inês is responsible for the definition and implementation of the global business development strategy, including the management and coordination of the regional sales teams with a proactive attitude towards the market.
João is one of the founders of WeDo and has more than 20 years of experience in the telco industry. In WeDo João has led the company’s operations in Europe since 2007, before his appointment as Chief Operations Officer as the global responsible for sales and delivery.
Having joined WeDo Technologies in 2001, he previously spent four years at American Management Systems in various development and program management roles. João Resende leads the product development at WeDo Technologies. João Resende has over 15 years of experience in Software development and in Telecom industry.
Miguel has over 17 years of experience in Telecoms and Convergence (mobile, fixed, xDSL, FTTH, pay TV and Internet). He is a C-level executive/Director with experience in Strategy, Marketing (Acquisition and Retention) and Sales, and in Operations (IT, Network, Customer Care & Logistics) with line responsibility and consulting experience in large telcos like Jazztel, KPN, Movistar or Yoigo in Spain, Optimus in Portugal, Oi in Brazil or Reliance in India, among others.
Nadine Dereza is an experienced business presenter and interviewer and has presented for CNN, BBC, Sky TV, SABC, Simply Money, Summit TV and Associated Press. As London Markets Correspondent for the Financial Times and Summit TV, she was awarded 'Financial Journalist of the Year'. Nadine currently presents CNBC’s Internet of Things: Powering the Digital Economy, investigating how digital innovation is reshaping industries.’.
Nuno has over 14 years of professional background oriented within the IT business development and consulting services for retail, telco and banking & financial industries. In 2004, was invited to join the Deloitte Enterprise Risk Services department merging IT know-how with an auditor perspective. Since October 2016 is globally responsible for all International business development at Saphety.
Joining WeDo Technologies in 2002, Nuno Pestana has worked in the regional teams delivering multiple RAID projects. He later join the Professional Services team were he was the responsible for the Rating and Billing Validation module. He is currently the responsible for the RAID Fraud Management Professional Services.
With professional experience in Telecommunications, Banking and Retail, Raul Azevedo re-joined Wedo Technologies in 2010 as Director of Product Development, responsible for WeDo’s product development, product management and research areas. Raul chaired the TM Forum’s Fraud Management Team between 2011 and 2015.
Having joined WeDo Technologies in 2007, during his career, has been directing, managing, developing and implementing projects as a Delivery Manager in the telecommunications sector, mainly on Asia Pacific region, in areas like Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management.
Rui Paiva is CEO and co-founder of WeDo Technologies. Prior to founding WeDo Technologies in 2001, Rui Paiva was System Information Director and Deputy of Optimus Communications’ Executive Committee. Before, he was Consultancy Director at HP Portugal, following a career at Telecel/Vodafone Portugal heading up the Infrastructure, Operations and Help Desk Department.
Revenue Assurance Analyst
Saja has five years of experience in Quality Assurance, Fraud Management and Revenue Assurance. Through which she has gained professional experience in assuring and assessing software reliability and consistency through conducting different tests and following up on successful fixes. Within Zain Jordan she has participated in the implementation of several RAID modules from the requirements gathering till the go live and production that enriched her technical experience and way of thinking.
For almost 16 years Sara has been helping industry leaders to communicate in order to leverage stakeholders engagement and business goals and with a proven track record for driving awareness for software products.
Sherry started her Telecom journey at Mobilink (Motorola) in Pakistan. After a few years she was offered an implementation role in Cable and Wireless West Indies. She was responsible for billing system implementation and call centre improvements. After a few amazing years in Cayman Islands she landed in the UK with T-Mobile and since then she has held many positions starting with billing and ending up in Revenue Assurance.
Tony has a strong telecom BSS knowledge in billing, revenue assurance, managed services, payments and mobile content delivery. In June 2011, Tony was recognized as one of the 25 most influential people in the telecom software industry.
Waqar is Group Executive Vice President Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management for Etisalat Group companies in Pakistan i.e. PTCL and Ufone. He has over 19 years of Telecom experience mostly in Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management domain. He is Cost and Management Accountant by profession. Prior to his current role he worked for Jazz (formerly Mobilink) for over 9 years where his last assignment was Head of Operational Excellence.

Cascais is a coastal town, 30 kilometres (19 miles) west of Lisbon. It is one of the richest municipalities in Portugal. The former fishing village gained fame as a resort for Portugal's royal family in the late 19th century and early 20th century. Nowadays, it is a popular vacation spot for both Portuguese and foreign tourists. Cascais is located on the Estoril coast also known as the Portuguese Riviera.
Cascais has many museums and monuments, as well as parks and the charming cobbled streets of the historic centre. It is surrounded by popular beaches.
